[He pauses, stops following, considering how to get around this merry-go-round problem.]

[Oh well, he smashes the display with his stolen baton and vaults lightly over it, graceful as an acrobat.]

[He had already thought the thief might jump the display, but he wasn't expecting him to break it, and the resounding crash and pieces flying catch him off guard.

His serenity melts, and in its place is left an alarmed veteran, a thing of war hovering on the edge of fight and flight. He doesn't stay there long, either, launching himself at Felid with all that speed from before, aiming to tackle him to the ground.]

[He's light on his feet, masterful at martial arts, but he wants to be caught. Which is good, he isn't sure he could dodge that tackle, it's so fast. But that's fine, he's braced for the rather forceful impact with the ground, at least.]

Ah--

[Crowley wastes no time in straddling Felid, methodically moving to pin him, breathless and stony-faced.]

[Oh that's attractive. He'll allow it just for the view. He really should be tussling, trying to get that knife back, but what an effectively distracting security they've arranged here.]

Remarkable restraint. I imagine I could be dead if you weren't so controlled.

[Crowley pauses once he has Felid secure to his satisfaction, taking a moment to breathe, let the light back into his eyes. This man is a nuisance, not an enemy, and he's not in any real danger. He has no one to protect, here, just an object.]

You don't come across as that frail. Should I worry about breaking any bones?

[He exhales softly.]

[He ignores the crack about breaking bones, smiling in a much too self-assured way for someone pinned under a man twice his mass.]

What an efficient killer you must have been.

[He leans up, sudden, so his face is close to Crowley's. He could kiss him, but he doesn't, just looks at him close.]

If not any of the above, can I have your name?

[It's... tempting in both directions, that closeness. He wants to pull away. He wants to kiss this transfixing stranger. But he does neither, eyes still guarded.]

Maybe if I hear yours first.

[Answered unhesitatingly, so not very wise for a thief. Or perhaps not his real name? Who knows.]

[It's still something to call him, and he wasn't expecting a real name anyway. The lack of hesitation merely isn't subtle, in his point of view.]

Crowley. Crowley Eusford.

Crowley.

[He sighs it like it's the most wonderful name in the world, and here he does steal a kiss, lips brushing the other man's. What he feels is hardly love, but it's an attraction more pressing than any interest in treasure. He doesn't know why and he doesn't care, he does what he likes and that's how he lives, taking what he wants.]

[If what he wants is this man's everything he'll just find a way to have it.]

[Crowley is... slow to react to the kiss. Not that he's surprised by it, because he'd have to be an idiot not to realize it was coming, but he hadn't decided how to react yet, and now he has to face that reality.

After a few moments he sits up a bit, though, pulling his lips from Felid's.]

[He leans back, disappointed and pouting a bit, but not actually shocked. This Crowley Eusford may not be reacting with horror to his flirting but a calm countenance hardly means he's accepting it.]

[Not that Felid is remotely discouraged.]

Are you not into men? Or is that kissing is still a third date deal?

That's for me to know, and you to probably never find out.

And why is that?

[Of course because Crowley means to turn him in for a long jail sentence and all that. But that really isn't Felid's plan so it's irrelevant.]
