[Felid only seems more possessive at that flinty look, his thumb brushing under Crowley's lower lip sensually before he draws his hand back slowly.]

I would call you a liar. You might think you're tired, but what you are is restless.

I think you're only seeing what you want to see, Felid. Dial back the touching a little bit, please. I don't want to worry Mary.

[He settles back and smiles harmlessly.]

[He's willing to let Crowley tell him he's wrong, watching him with clear, sharp eyes.]

[He holds Felid's gaze for a while, then drops his eyes to the menu without a word.]

[He doesn't comment, scanning the menu himself before pushing it away and leaning back. When their orders are taken he orders a sandwich and fruit salad with his coffee, yet still doesn't seem to see the need to fill the silence between them. Alternating watching Crowley and watching the rest of the diner.]

[Crowley puts on a smile for Mary, but otherwise doesn't really bother trying to seem like he isn't fussed. Even so, he doesn't seem angry, more like he's mulling things over. He does order the pasta.]

[It's doubtful Felid would care if he pissed Crowley off, considering his bluntness. When their food arrives he praises it and sits back, watching Crowley with a little smile of indeterminable motive.]
