[He sits across from Crowley, amused and watching him with open curiosity.]

No, I'll give you the real answer. I like occult, I like history, I am very fond of trashy romance novels and those thin little sci-fi snacks they sell at the airport.

Crap, we're giving the real answers? I was going to say something cool, but I really like fantasy and nature guides.

I used to. I haven't gotten back into it since I got back, though. Lost track of my old groups, for bigger hikes.

Are most of them still alive?

[It's a really blunt question but Felid's hardly tactful with Crowley. He could be if he wanted, but he just feels uninterested in playing charming. Whether Crowley realizes it or not, Felid's being far more himself with the man than he is ever.]

After all, that kind of group is usually the kind you sign up for the army with, isn't it?

[He reaches across the table and drags his knuckles lightly across Crowley's chin. But in his eyes there's no compassion or that desire to fix a poor wounded veteran. There's interest, excitement, possessiveness.]

You like fantasy and nature walks. A man with a simple, dreamy nature. Do you like adventures, Crowley? I frankly don't care how many you've killed or what ghosts haunt you. But I can't stand boredom. What about you? Don't tell me all you want is peace and quiet now.

[His eyes are a little scary again, flinty, but Crowley doesn't even try to redirect Felid's hand.

[It's neither confirmation nor denial, no matter how he tries to spin it without lying.]

[Felid only seems more possessive at that flinty look, his thumb brushing under Crowley's lower lip sensually before he draws his hand back slowly.]
